Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Civil Engineer with specialized expertise in the design, construction, and maintenance of swimming pools and water features. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all engineering aspects of our swimming pool projects, from initial concept and design through to completion and handover. This role requires a strong understanding of hydraulic systems, structural design, water treatment, and relevant local and international building codes.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop detailed engineering designs, plans, and specifications for various types of swimming pools (residential, commercial, competition, leisure, etc.), including structural elements, hydraulic systems, filtration, sanitation, heating, and special features.

Perform necessary calculations for concrete, rebar, piping, pumps, filters, and other pool components.

Ensure designs comply with all relevant local building codes, safety regulations, and international standards.

Collaborate with architects, landscape architects, clients, and other parties to integrate pool designs seamlessly into overall project plans.

Oversee and manage the engineering aspects of swimming pool construction projects from inception to completion.

Conduct site inspections to ensure construction adheres to design specifications, quality standards, and safety protocols.

Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and contractor proposals.

Identify and resolve engineering challenges and design discrepancies during the construction phase.

Monitor project progress, budget, and schedule, providing regular updates to management.

Provide expert technical advice and guidance on all aspects of swimming pool engineering and construction.

Evaluate existing pool structures and systems for renovation or repair projects.

Prepare technical reports, feasibility studies, and tender documents.

Implement and enforce rigorous quality control measures throughout the project lifecycle.

Ensure all designs and construction methods meet environmental and health standards.

Oversee the procurement and inventory management of swimming pool chemicals, equipment, and spare parts.

Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of swimming pool technicians and support staff.

Conduct performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and identify training needs.

Foster a positive and productive work environment focused on teamwork and continuous improvement.

Prepare quotations, technical submittals, proposals, and specifications for new projects

Conduct final inspections and approve completed works for handover.

Ensure that the services provided are of the highest quality and in line with company services standards.

Identify opportunities for business growth and contribute to the development of new service offerings.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.

Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Civil Engineer, specifically focused on swimming pool design and construction.

Strong understanding of structural analysis and design for concrete and reinforced concrete pool structures.

Familiarity with relevant local and international building codes, health codes, and safety regulations pertaining to swimming pools.

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.

Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

English proficiency (written and spoken) is a must.

Valid UAE Driving license is essential.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
