Civil Engineer with extensive experience working with leading consultants and government authorities in Dubai and Sharjah. Skilled in project supervision, design review, authority approvals, and ensuring compliance with local regulations and standards.
Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and standards.
Carry out inspections and approve/reject works and materials.
Ensure safety regulations and quality standards are met on site.
Verify contractor's adherence to contract terms and project specifications.
Review shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals before implementation.
Ensure design intent from the consultant office is properly executed on site.
Act as a liaison between the consultant office and site team.
Attend site meetings with contractors, subcontractors, and client representatives.
Report progress, issues, and delays to the consultant's project manager.
Monitor project progress, check contractor's program of works, and highlight potential delays.
Prepare daily/weekly site reports for the consultant/client.
Certify contractor's interim payment applications based on executed works.
Provide technical guidance and resolve site queries.
Recommend corrective actions for non-conformance or deviations.
Support the consultant design team with site feedback for improvements.
Ensure snagging and de-snagging are completed before project handover.
Verify as-built drawings, O&M manuals, and warranties.
