Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Civil Engineer with 7-12 years of expertise to join our team for the Engineering Phase of an onshore oil and gas project in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in civil engineering, particularly in infrastructure, foundations, and site development for oil and gas facilities.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform civil engineering design, calculations, and analysis for foundations, roadways, drainage systems, and other site-related structures.
• Develop engineering deliverables, including design reports, drawings, and specifications, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless integration of civil designs.
• Review vendor submittals, design drawings, and technical documents to ensure accuracy and adherence to project standards.
• Conduct site grading, earthwork analysis, and geotechnical assessments as required.
• Prepare Material Take-Offs (MTOs) and provide support for cost estimation and procurement.
• Ensure designs align with local regulations, client standards (e.g., ADNOC), and international codes such as BS, ACI, or Eurocodes.
• Participate in technical reviews, including constructability and model reviews, and address client comments.
• Provide engineering support during project reviews and respond to technical queries related to civil works.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• 7-12 years of civil engineering experience, particularly in onshore oil and gas projects.
• Proficient in design tools such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, STAAD.Pro, or other civil engineering software.
• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Strong understanding of geotechnical engineering, foundation design, and site development.
• Experience in FEED and detailed engineering for large-scale industrial or oil and gas projects.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
• Must be available to join immediately and work in Abu Dhabi.
