We are seeking an experienced and results-driven

Cost Control Manager (Civil)

to lead the cost management functions across major construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing budget planning, cost monitoring, financial forecasting, and ensuring cost-effective execution of works in line with project goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the cost control department and manage a team of cost engineers and planners. Develop and implement cost control systems, procedures, and tools. Prepare, monitor, and review project budgets, forecasts, and cash flows. Analyze cost variances and recommend value engineering opportunities. Coordinate with project managers, procurement, and finance teams to align cost strategies. Validate and review contractor and supplier payments against project progress. Prepare regular cost reports for internal and external stakeholders. Assess and manage project financial risks and provide mitigation strategies. Contribute to bid preparation and tender stage cost evaluations. Support claims preparation, cost impact analysis, and commercial negotiations.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Master's or MBA is a plus). Minimum

10 years of managerial experience

in cost control within the

civil construction/contracting sector

. Strong understanding of project budgeting, financial reporting, and construction economics. Proficient in ERP and cost control software (e.g., Primavera, SAP, Oracle). Exceptional leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Experience in large-scale infrastructure, residential, or commercial projects. Knowledge of contract administration and claims management.
