Civil Construction Manager
Job Description
Manage and oversee the day-to-day construction activities of the project.
Develops, supervises, and approves Project Execution Plans [from the construction perspective]; implements them, and ensures that Lessons Learned are properly documented for each stage of the project, including its close-out.
Manage the construction effort and act as our company's representative with the client. Plan, develop, and organize the construction effort to formulate the most cost-effective plan to achieve timely completion within budget, and then execute that plan.
Responsible for executing the scope of work for construction and commissioning of the facilities in accordance with the project specifications, Scope of Work, and according to the approved Project Schedule.
Monitor and report project details, including progress, risks, and opportunities, to the Project Manager in a timely manner.
Ensures that all changes to specifications, work scope, and drawings are documented.
Establish clear roles & responsibilities and deliverable requirements in terms of both scope and schedule for all team members.
Review man-hours and duration forecasts to completion for construction and man-hours, duration, and manning forecasts.
Monitor productivity and schedule performance, and investigate reasons for less than satisfactory performance. Implement measures for improvement by modifying operating procedures and work instructions.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Civil. 12 to 15 years of relevant experience (UAE) in the construction industry. Know the requirements and procedures of local authorities (Abu Dhabi Municipality, Civil Defense, Transportation Authority, etc.). Bachelor's Degree - (UAE Foreign Affairs & Embassy Attestation) Society Of Engineering Card (ABU DHABI MUNICIPALITY) Equivalency Certificate (Required) Only the Candidates who can join immediately need apply.
