JOB LOCATION - Fujairah, UAE (Flights and accommodation provided)



Chocolatier is a highly skilled professional who creates, and designs confections made from chocolate. They must have a great understanding of the chemistry of chocolate and its many varieties, as well as the skill to craft exquisite creations.

The Chocolatier is responsible for the development and production of a wide array of chocolate products including truffles, bars, bonbons, and cakes. They must have a creative eye when it comes to designing new chocolate Flavors and presentation. A Chocolatier must also understand proper food safety and sanitation practices.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE



Educational Background

: Culinary degree or formal training in pastry, baking, or chocolate making.

Experience

: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Chocolatier or in a similar role in a high-end kitchen or chocolatier.

Technical Skills

: Mastery of chocolate tempering, molding, and enrobing. Knowledge of flavor profiles, fillings, and textures. Strong aesthetic sense for designing visually appealing chocolates.

Creativity

: Ability to develop unique flavors, designs, and presentation ideas that enhance brand identity.

Attention to Detail

: Exceptional precision in crafting chocolates to meet high standards of taste and appearance.

Organizational Skills

: Strong ability to manage time, inventory, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Customer Service

: Professional demeanor and ability to engage positively with customers for custom orders.

Teamwork and Mentoring

: Experience in leading or training junior staff in chocolate production. 10+ Year working as Pastry Chef, Chocolatier, Confectioner. 4 Years minimum experience working as a Private Chef for VVIPs

JOB DESCRIPTION



Passionate about chocolate artistry and high-end confections. Chocolate Production, Craft a variety of chocolate products including, but not limited to, pralines, truffles, bonbons, molded chocolates, and chocolate bars. Quality Control and Standards, regular quality checks on all products to ensure they meet company standards for taste, appearance, and texture. Uphold strict standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and safety in all production areas. Maintain an organized, efficient, and hygienic work environment, following HACCP standards and food safety regulations. Collaborate with the team to create unique, seasonal, or special edition chocolate items that align with brand identity. Stay updated on industry trends to introduce cutting-edge techniques, designs, and ingredients. Work with the marketing and sales team to conceptualize packaging and presentation ideas that enhance the visual appeal of products. Manage inventory and stock levels for chocolate, ingredients, and supplies, ensuring timely ordering to prevent shortages. Document recipes, production methods, and quality standards. Maintain logs of production schedules, inventory usage, and product quality checks. Demonstrates innovative thinking and willingness to push boundaries with new flavors and techniques. Reliable, with strong work ethics and commitment to quality. Adept at multitasking and handling pressure during high-demand periods. Proactive in seeking ways to improve production efficiency and product offerings.
