The Chocolate Chef is responsible for creating high-quality chocolate products, including pralines, truffles, bars, and decorative chocolate pieces. This role combines culinary creativity with technical precision to produce visually appealing and flavorful chocolate items while maintaining food safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and produce a variety of chocolate products (truffles, bonbons, molded chocolates, ganache, fillings, bars).
Temper chocolate using proper techniques to ensure correct texture, shine, and snap.
Develop new chocolate recipes, flavors, and seasonal collections.
Decorate and finish chocolate products with attention to detail and presentation.
Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards in the kitchen.
Monitor ingredient quality and manage chocolate inventory and storage.
Operate and maintain chocolate-making equipment and tools.
Ensure consistency and quality control in all chocolate products.
Collaborate with pastry chefs, kitchen staff, or production teams as required.
Assist with packaging, labeling, and presentation for retail or events.
