Responsibilities:
1. Chocolate Production:
Prepare, create, and decorate a wide variety of chocolate products, including truffles, pralines, bonbons, chocolate bars, and other confections. FILLINGS CREATION AND COLORING IS A MUST.
2. Recipe Development:
Develop and innovate new chocolate recipes, flavors, and designs to keep the product offerings fresh and exciting.
3. Quality Control:
Ensure the highest quality standards for all chocolate products, maintaining consistency in taste, texture, and appearance.
4. Ingredient Sourcing:
Collaborate with suppliers to select high-quality ingredients and ensure the availability of necessary raw materials.
5. Production Planning:
Efficiently manage production schedules, prioritize tasks, and monitor inventory levels to meet customer demand.
6. Hygiene and Safety:
Adhere to strict food safety and hygiene standards to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
7. Team Collaboration:
Work closely with other team members, including kitchen staff and assistants, to ensure smooth production operations.
8. Customer Engagement:
Interact with customers, answer questions about chocolate products, and provide recommendations.
9. Training and Development:
Train and mentor junior staff members on chocolate making techniques, including tempering, molding, and decorating.
Qualifications:
1. Culinary Skills:
A strong background in pastry or culinary arts with a focus on chocolate is essential.
2. Creativity:
The ability to create visually appealing and delicious chocolate products is crucial.
3. Attention to Detail:
Precision in tempering, molding, and decorating chocolate is important for quality control.
