Job Description
Pioneer Engineering Consultancy is pleased to announce exciting new career opportunities to join our team in the United Arab Emirates. We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Chief Surveyor to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
Lead surveying operations for large-scale construction, infrastructure, and development projects. Plan, coordinate, and supervise all land and topographic surveys, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications. Prepare, review, and approve survey plans, maps, and reports for internal and client use. Oversee the use of advanced surveying equipment, including total stations, GPS, and 3D laser scanners. Liaise with project teams, clients, and authorities to resolve survey-related issues and provide technical guidance. Ensure adherence to safety standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices in surveying. Mentor and train junior surveyors and certified survey technicians. Manage survey-related documentation, quality control, and data management systems.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Geomatics, or related field.
MRICS
- Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors - mandatory.Licensed Land Surveyor (PLS)
- required.Certified Survey Technician (CST)
- preferred. Minimum10 years of professional experience
in surveying, including large-scale projects. Strong knowledge of land surveying principles, GIS, and surveying software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D, Leica Geo Office, or equivalent). Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.Job Type: Full-time
