The ideal candidate will have a strong background in land surveying, team leadership, and advanced use of survey instruments and software. This role is critical to ensuring accurate layout, boundary definition, and quality control for site development.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate all field surveying activities on project sites.
Lead a team of surveyors and survey assistants, ensuring work is carried out efficiently and accurately.
Conduct and oversee topographic, boundary, and construction staking surveys.
Interpret civil and architectural drawings and ensure accurate layout and control on-site.
Prepare and review survey reports, field notes, and maps.
Verify survey data and ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and project-specific standards.
Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure data accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
Maintain and calibrate survey equipment including total stations, GPS/GNSS, levels, and robotic instruments.
Manage survey data processing using software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center, or similar.
Ensure all safety standards and protocols are followed during fieldwork.
Requirements:
Essential:
Diploma or Degree in Land Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum [5-10] years of experience in land surveying, including 3+ years in a supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of surveying instruments (Total Station, GPS, Theodolite, Level, etc.).
Proficient in survey and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Trimble, Leica, etc.).
Understanding of local land laws, construction methods, and site safety standards.
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
