About Role:
AirhubAviation is seeking to hire a Chief Financial Officer, who will support the CEO by overseeing the financial operations of a company and making decisions based on the company’s financial stability. The CFO will be responsible for identifying the best practices for company finances, annual budgeting and reforecasting.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop the financial operations of the organization by providing financial projections and accounting services and preparing strategic growth plans
- Establishes finance operational strategies by evaluating trends; establishing critical measurements; determining productivity, quality, accumulating resources, resolving problems and implementing change
- Analyzing organization operations; identifying opportunities for improvement, cost reduction, and systems enhancement; and accumulating capital to fund expansion
- Reporting and accounting as per international and local regulatory and legal requirements including budgeting, controlling, accounting, taxation, dividends, cost management, investor relations and annual report.
- Ensure cash flow is compatible with company operations, by overseeing the day-to-day accounting, recording, reporting, and internal control activities of the organization
- Maximizes return on invested funds by identifying investment opportunities and maintaining relationships with the investment community
- Reports financial status by developing forecasts, reporting results, analyzing variances, and developing improvements
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Qualified finance professional (CA/CPA/ACCA)
- Strong understanding of B2B sector along with aviation industry experience is an added advantage
- Prior experience as a senior finance leader with a demonstrable track record of creating value for shareholders
- Action oriented, hands-on leader who is able to make significant impact outside of a large corporate structure. Able to balance decisiveness with diligence and make well considered decisions under time pressure
- Entrepreneurial, pragmatic and innovative, open to new ideas and always looking for ways to develop and improve both themselves, their function and the business overall
