Job Description

We are seeking a Chief Accountant to lead our finance department. The ideal candidate will bring a strategic vision and a proven track record in financial management especially within the property development or real estate sectors. This role requires a professional who can not only manage complex financial landscapes but also contribute to strategic decision-making to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the accounting team to ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.

- Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.

Proven experience with Budgeting and Forecasting

- Enhance financial systems, processes, and controls to support the company's growth.

- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for executive management and regulatory bodies.

- Coordinate with external auditors and manage audit processes.

- Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to the CEO and board members.

- Manage corporate finance initiatives, including funding strategies, investments, and risk management.

Qualifications:

- CA or ACCA or CA Finalist or equivalent

- Minimum of 7-10 years of accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the real estate or property development industry.

- Strong understanding of real estate accounting standards and financial regulations.

- Exceptional leadership skills and the ability to manage and develop a high-performing team.

- Excellent analytical, decision-making, and strategic planning skills and preparations of financial reports for higher management.

- Proficient in accounting software and systems, with a keen aptitude for adopting new technologies.
