Job Overview:

Emirates Talent Solution is seeking an experienced Chief Accountant for a leading company in the Property Development & Real Estate Brokerage industry. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in accounting and finance within the real estate sector, with a focus on managing financial operations, ensuring compliance, and providing strategic financial insights to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management:

Oversee the preparation of financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections. Manage day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable, and receivable, and payroll. Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with local laws and regulations.

Audit & Compliance:

Coordinate and manage internal and external audits, ensuring adherence to financial regulations and company policies. Ensure compliance with tax laws, and prepare and file tax returns on time. Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation.

Cost Control & Budgeting:

Develop and monitor budgets for property development projects, ensuring that costs are controlled and within approved limits. Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making on property investments and development strategies. Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.

Financial Planning & Strategy:

Collaborate with senior management to develop financial strategies that align with business goals. Prepare financial models and feasibility studies for new property developments and investments. Provide regular financial reports and analysis to senior management, highlighting key financial metrics and trends.

Team Leadership:

Lead and mentor a team of accountants and finance professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance. Ensure that the finance team is up-to-date with the latest financial regulations and industry best practices. Provide training and development opportunities to enhance the skills and knowledge of the finance team.

Client & Investor Relations:

Liaise with clients, investors, and financial institutions to manage financial transactions and reporting requirements. Support the business development team in financial negotiations and deal structuring for property acquisitions and sales. Maintain strong relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification is preferred. Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on property development and real estate. Strong knowledge of financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting principles specific to the real estate industry. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Strong communication and leadership abilities. Experience in managing financial operations for large-scale property development projects is highly desirable.
