We are seeking an experienced Chemist to research, formulate, test, and improve a wide range of cleaning chemical products. This role involves developing safe, effective, and sustainable formulations while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. You will work closely with R&D, production, and quality control teams to bring innovative cleaning solutions to market.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and formulate cleaning products such as detergents, degreasers, disinfectants, and specialty cleaners.
Conduct lab testing to evaluate product performance, stability, safety, and compatibility.
Optimize existing formulas for improved efficiency, cost, and environmental impact.
Maintain detailed documentation for formulations, processes, and compliance with regulatory bodies (e.g., EPA, REACH, OSHA).
Support scale-up processes from lab to production.
Collaborate with sales, marketing, and regulatory teams to support technical data sheets and product claims.
Stay updated on raw material innovations, industry trends, and regulatory changes.
Troubleshoot technical issues related to product performance or production processes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in cleaning chemical formulation or related industries.
Strong understanding of surfactants, solvents, emulsifiers, and disinfectant actives.
Experience with pH, viscosity, and stability testing methods.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g., SDS preparation, labeling standards).
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and project management abilities.
