Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes under the supervision of senior chefs.
Prepare ingredients for daily service, including meats, seafood, vegetables, sauces, and marinades typical of Arabic or Mediterranean cuisine.
Maintain high standards of food hygiene, safety, and kitchen cleanliness at all times.
Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards to ensure consistency.
Support senior chefs in developing new menu items and improving existing recipes.
Ensure that all food items are stored and labeled correctly to maintain freshness and quality.
Assist with stock rotation, inventory, and waste management.
Uphold kitchen organization and cleanliness in compliance with HACCP and food safety regulations.
Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient service.
