Plan and prepare a variety of high-quality dishes in line with the cafe's menu and standards.
Supervise kitchen staff, delegate tasks, and ensure smooth daily operations.
Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety (HACCP compliance).
Monitor stock levels, order ingredients, and manage inventory efficiently.
Ensure all dishes are prepared, cooked, and presented on time and to the highest standards.
Control food costs and minimize waste.
Develop new recipes and contribute to menu innovation based on customer feedback and trends.
Train and mentor kitchen staff to maintain skill and consistency.
Coordinate with management to ensure kitchen operations align with overall business goals.
Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
Qualifications & Skills:
Proven experience as a Chef or Cook in a cafe, restaurant, or catering setup.
Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques, kitchen equipment, and safety protocols.
Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Creativity and attention to detail in food presentation.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Diploma or certification in Culinary Arts
