Job description:

A high-profile family in Dubai is seeking a talented and flexible Private Chef to join their household on a full-time basis. The family consists of seven members, including four adults, and employs a team of staff.

The chef will work closely alongside another chef who specializes in Asian and Chinese cuisine, ensuring the household enjoys a diverse culinary offering.

The role requires a chef with a strong background in Western cuisine and expertise in Paleo cooking, as one of the principals follows a paleo diet. Additionally, the chef must be highly skilled in patisserie and pastry to prepare dishes for the other family members, with the ability to prepare a wide range of baked goods such as artisanal breads, cakes, and French tarts.


While

one member of the family is following a Paleo diet

, the other members of the family have a particular appreciation for refined French patisserie and expects this to be a regular part of their dining experience.


Responsibilities include preparing daily meals for the family, working 6 days per week with one day off, and ensuring a consistent level of quality and creativity.

A trial will be required as part of the hiring process.

The family values a professional who can integrate seamlessly into their household, demonstrating flexibility, humility, and a collaborative spirit, while avoiding ego and drama.

Travel with the family will be required during the summer months, primarily to Europe and possibly to Asia.

The position is ideally suited for a male chef, due to household preferences, and requires someone with experience in high-profile or private family settings.


Accommodation is provided in a private room within the residence, and the family will cover the cost of flights to Dubai.

Vacation:

30 calendar days per year after completing one full year of service. Days can be also used pro rata (2 days per month worked, until 1 full year is completed).
