Responsibilities

• Prepare and produce a wide range of pastries, breads, and desserts to the highest standards, ensuring visual appeal and flavor.
• Collaborate with the head chef and culinary team on menu development and seasonal dessert offerings.
• Oversee the daily operations of the pastry kitchen and ensure the smooth running of all dessert services.
• Train and mentor junior pastry staff, providing guidance on techniques and presentation.
• Maintain inventory levels, ordering ingredients as necessary and ensuring all products meet quality standards.
• Implement and uphold hygiene and food safety standards within the pastry kitchen.
• Stay updated on pastry trends and innovate new recipes to enhance the dessert menu.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years experience as a Chef De Partie in Pastry, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort setting.
• Culinary school diploma or equivalent experience in pastry arts.
• Strong creative flair and a passion for producing high-quality desserts and pastries.
• Excellent attention to detail, presentation skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively lead and foster team collaboration.
• Thorough understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
