Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and present dishes following menu guidelines and Chef de Cuisine/Sous Chef instructions
• Supervise mise-en-place, stock rotation, date coding, and cleanliness of the kitchen section
• Manage junior chefs and ensure smooth kitchen operations during peak service periods
• Assist in menu development with creative, seasonal ideas that maximize resource efficiency
• Train and mentor junior chefs and trainees while maintaining an active training plan
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, food safety, and Jumeirah's service standards
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness, report equipment issues, and follow health and fire safety protocols

Ideal Profile

• Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in culinary roles within luxury hospitality
• Degree or diploma in Culinary Arts from an accredited institution preferred
• Strong culinary expertise in both classical and modern international cuisine
• Knowledge of food presentation, quality control, and hygiene standards
• Energetic team player with attention to detail, reliability, and efficiency
