We are looking for a talented and experienced

female Chef de Partie / Demi Chef de Partie

, specializing in

Japanese cuisine and ramen preparation

, to join our culinary team for our new SLRP store. The selected candidate will manage a section of the kitchen while ensuring excellence in quality, taste, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage a specific kitchen section (hot/cold/ramen) under the guidance of the Sous Chef or Head Chef. Prepare and cook authentic Japanese dishes, with a focus on ramen (broths, tare, noodles, garnishes). Maintain the highest standards of consistency, presentation, and flavor. Train, guide, and supervise junior chefs and commis in your section. Monitor inventory and ensure proper stock rotation to minimize wastage. Uphold food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards. Collaborate with the Head Chef to refine recipes and menu items. Assist with ordering and receiving ingredients, ensuring freshness and quality. Perform well under pressure during peak service hours.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or Demi Chef, with strong knowledge of Japanese cuisine (especially ramen). Expertise in Japanese culinary techniques and ingredients. Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to mentor junior staff. Ability to maintain high quality in a high-volume kitchen environment. Excellent knowledge of food safety regulations and HACCP standards. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays. Culinary certification or formal Japanese cuisine training is an advantage.
