We are seeking a talented and passionate Demi Chef De Partie specializing in Pan Asian cuisine to join our culinary team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our kitchen brigade, you will contribute to creating exceptional dining experiences for our guests while honing your skills in Asian flavors and techniques.
Prepare and cook a variety of Pan Asian dishes, ensuring consistency and quality in taste and presentation
Assist the Chef de Partie in managing the assigned kitchen section
Collaborate with team members to maintain smooth kitchen operations during service
Ensure proper food handling, storage, and hygiene practices are followed at all times
Contribute to menu development and recipe standardization
Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in Pan Asian cooking techniques
Maintain kitchen equipment and workstations in clean and organized condition
Assist in inventory management and stock rotation
Adapt to fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently
Participate in team briefings and contribute ideas for continuous improvement
Qualifications
Culinary degree or diploma from a recognized institution
Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Demi Chef de Partie or in a similar role
Proven experience in Pan Asian cuisine, including Chinese, Japanese, Thai, and other Asian culinary traditions
Strong knowledge of Asian ingredients, flavors, and cooking techniques
Excellent knife skills and proficiency in operating kitchen equipment
Up-to-date food safety certification
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Strong time management and organizational skills
Effective communication and teamwork abilities
Creativity and passion for culinary innovation
Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items
Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays
* Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus
