Manage and oversee a designated kitchen section (e.g. grill, sauce, pastry, fish, veg)
Prepare, cook, and present dishes to company standards
Ensure consistency, quality, and portion control of all dishes
Supervise and support Commis Chefs and Kitchen Assistants
Maintain high standards of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness (HACCP)
Assist with stock control, ordering, and minimizing food waste
Ensure equipment is used safely and maintained properly
Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service
Follow all health & safety regulations
Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Demi CDP ready to step up
Solid knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen operations
Ability to work under pressure during busy service
Good communication and teamwork skills
Strong attention to detail and presentation
Culinary qualification (preferred but not always essential)
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
Shift work, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Fast-paced kitchen environment
Standing for long periods and handling hot equipment
