Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes in the grill section, with a focus on Iranian cuisine and kebabs.
Ensure all food is prepared to meet the standards of quality, taste, and presentation.
Assist the Head Chef in creating menus and developing new dishes.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation and equipment.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the procurement team to ensure the availability of fresh ingredients.
Train and supervise junior staff to maintain high kitchen standards.
Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
Manage portion sizes and minimize waste to contribute to cost control.
Contribute to a positive team environment by collaborating effectively with colleagues.
Qualifications and Skills:
Proven experience as a CDP or in a similar role, specializing in grills and Iranian cuisine.
Strong knowledge of marination, grilling techniques, and the preparation of kebabs and traditional Iranian dishes.
Culinary certification or relevant training is an advantage.
Ability to work under pressure in a high-volume kitchen.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
A team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences.
