We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Chef de Partie (Arabic Cuisine Specialization) to join our culinary team in Doha, Qatar. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for overseeing the cold kitchen section, ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and presentation while maintaining efficient operations.
Manage daily operations of the Arabic cuisine section, specializing in authentic Arabic dishes, salads, mezze, and traditional specialties.
Prepare high-quality dishes according to authentic recipes and established standards.
Collaborate with other kitchen sections to ensure timely and efficient food service.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Arabic kitchen area, adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations.
Contribute to menu planning and development, with a focus on innovative and traditional Arabic cuisine.
Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in Arabic culinary techniques and preparations.
Communicate effectively with the kitchen team and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
Monitor and maintain proper stock levels of ingredients and supplies for the Arabic section.
Assist in portion control and food cost management for Arabic cuisine items.
Participate in regular kitchen meetings and contribute ideas for continuous improvement.
Ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining consistent food quality and presentation.
Qualifications
Culinary degree or diploma from a recognized institution
At least 2 years' experience as Chef de Partie or similar, specializing in Arabic cuisine
Strong skills in preparing authentic Arabic dishes, salads, mezze, and desserts
Good knowledge of Arabic cooking techniques and ingredients
Fluent in English (written and spoken)
Food safety certification and strong hygiene awareness
Experience with kitchen equipment and efficient kitchen operations
Leadership skills to train and mentor junior staff
Creative, organized, and able to work under pressure
Flexible to work shifts, including weekends and holidays
Physical stamina for standing long hours and lifting as needed
