71 Farm Station - AD Mosque Chef de Partie A chef de Partie controls a section of the kitchen. They are third in command after a head chef and then a sous chef. Typically they manage a small team of workers, though they sometimes are the sole person working in their section of the kitchen. Often the position is referred to as a \xe2\x80\x9cstation chef\xe2\x80\x9d KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee the production of meals produced during the shift.
Ensure timely provision of food from the kitchen, relevant to the shift
To supervise the activities of all the Line/Commis Chefs during the shift.
Ensure adherence to the organization\xe2\x80\x99s Food Safety/Health policies.
Responsibility for the ordering of stock as directed by the Sous Chef.
Be responsible for taking delivery and safe storage of deliveries.
Participate in training programs as required
Ensure high standards of customer service are maintained at all times.
Cover some aspects of the Sous Chef role as appropriate and as directed.
Any other reasonable duties as requested by the Sous Chef/Head Chef.
Ensure that necessary paperwork, administration, controls and records are undertaken and maintained as directed by the Head Chef to include Health & Safety, Food Safety and any other as requested.
SKILLS
Least 2 year\xe2\x80\x99s experience working at a similar level of responsibility
Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
C & G 706 1/2 or NVQ 1/2 qualification or equivalent
Able to demonstrate a knowledge and experience of food costing
A passion for food and food service
Ability to cope with a varied and demanding workload
Ability to set an example and address performance issues as required
Able to demonstrate strong leadership, organizational, communication and planning skills
