What you will do
The Channel Sales Engineer \xe2\x80\x93 HVAC you will be based in Lagos, Nigeria will be reporting directly to the Regional Sales Director - (DX Indirect Channels-Africa). As part of a growing team you will be responsible for delivering a sales target in East & West Africa across the DX Product portfolio.

As an integral part of our team, your role will involve implementing Indirect Product Distribution strategies through Channel Partners. Your primary focus will be on growing our market share by acquiring new business customers, including end users, contractors, and consultants. By demonstrating the expertise and reach of our channel partners, we strive to optimally serve the needs of these customers and drive balanced growth in our target sectors.

As a member of this team, you will work within a vibrant environment that provides a platform for you to use your experience to generate new business.

How you will do it
As a Channel Sales Engineer you will develop new channels as well as running and sustaining existing channel. This includes supporting your Channel Partners in chasing, qualifying, and closing new sales opportunities. You\xe2\x80\x99ll demonstrate your expertise by differentiating Johnson Controls, using your deep market knowledge of our competitor\xe2\x80\x99s strategies, products, and services. You shall be the focal point between Johnson Controls broad organization and Channel Partners assembling and leading virtual teams on every task with the strive to win.

You are focused to seek and develop long term partnership and customer relationships, and self-motivated to drive your territory growth. You\xe2\x80\x99re driven and consistent in your approach to work, running multiple priorities simultaneously because of your excellent planning, and time management skills.

What we look for
Required

Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in mechanical

Minimum of 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in selling HVAC Systems within West & East Africa

Ability to design technical solutions, select equipment and advise customers on solutions.

Consistent track record of delivering sales within Africa region.

Resolved, results driven, strong sales drive.

Proficient language skills in English

Ability to travel at least 50% of your time

Preferred

Proven track record of selling DX and VRF products

Previous experience in handling Channel partners in Africa region

Experience in using Sales Force

Proficient language skills in French

Johnson Controls
