Central Risk | AML Quality Assurance | Assistant Manager - UAE

The successful candidate\'s key responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

\xc2\xb7 Performing Testing and Monitoring of effectiveness and process systems relating to AML/CTF matters, working under the Guidance of the team managers, and in line with Deloitte Technology

\xc2\xb7 Reviewing and evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls

\xc2\xb7 Participating in compliance, regulatory and other related matters

\xc2\xb7 Assisting in monitoring activities of the jurisdictions within the Middle East Firm

\xc2\xb7 Perform ongoing monitoring and review of the clients\' AML risk assessment

\xc2\xb7 Implementation of Laws and Regulations as it relates to client acceptance and report any updates across all 15 jurisdictions of the Deloitte Middle East

Requirements

\xc2\xb7 Undergraduate and/or Postgraduate degree from a reputable University in any field

\xc2\xb7 Experience in external audit/internal audit/controls testing for at least 2-4 years

\xc2\xb7 ACAMS or ICA Qualification will also be considered an advantage

\xc2\xb7 Possession of, or currently pursuing a professional qualification (e.g., CIA, ACA, ACCA, CFA) will be considered as an advantage

\xc2\xb7 Experience in AML/Financial crime would be considered an advantage

\xc2\xb7 Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability

\xc2\xb7 Ability to work effectively in a team environment, strong leadership and people management skills

\xc2\xb7 Ability to work under pressure and achieve results

\xc2\xb7 Strong business and commercial awareness

\xc2\xb7 Excellent analytical and report writing skills
