Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and technically skilled
CCTV Technician
to join our growing retail chain of supermarkets across the UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and operation of CCTV systems to ensure optimal surveillance and security coverage across all store locations.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain CCTV cameras, DVRs/NVRs, and related surveillance systems in various supermarket branches.
Perform regular maintenance checks and resolve issues to ensure system functionality.
Monitor live and recorded video footage for unusual or suspicious activities.
Respond promptly to CCTV-related technical issues or breakdowns.
Assist in setting up remote viewing access for authorized personnel.
Coordinate with IT and security departments for system integration.
Ensure compliance with company policies and UAE security regulations regarding surveillance systems.
Keep detailed records of maintenance, installation, and repair activities.
Recommend upgrades and improvements to enhance system performance and coverage.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in
Computer Science
,
Information Technology
, or related field.
Minimum 1-3 years of experience in CCTV installation and maintenance (retail or similar environment preferred).
Solid understanding of network-based surveillance systems.
Familiarity with brands like Hikvision, Dahua, Axis, etc.
Basic knowledge of IP networking and structured cabling.
Ability to work independently and travel across branches as required.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation skills.
Good communication and time-management skills.
