We are seeking an experienced CCTV Engineer to manage installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of CCTV systems across various sites. The ideal candidate will have solid technical knowledge, hands-on experience, and a valid MMUP/UPDA certification as required for practicing in Qatar.
Preventive Maintenance
Execute the preventive maintenance (PM) schedule for CCTV systems.
Allocate resources (technicians, tools, time slots) for planned maintenance.
Provide maintenance instructions and ensure all PM tasks are completed properly.
Update PM instructions when needed and report findings to the Planning Engineer.
Corrective Maintenance
Respond quickly to faults and emergency cases.
Assign and supervise technicians to resolve system issues.
Ensure all corrective actions are completed and documented in the CMWO (Corrective Maintenance Work Order).
Test systems post-repair to confirm functionality.
Installation & Configuration
Oversee full installation of CCTV systems -- cabling, configuration, testing, and commissioning.
Ensure compatibility with network and storage systems.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain accurate maintenance logs, reports, and feedback records.
Provide technical inputs for continuous improvement and system optimization.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Control Systems Engineering.
Hands-on experience with IP cameras, VMS (Milestone, Genetec, etc.), and Axis servers.
Proficiency in Windows Server, Linux (RHEL), Active Directory, and network protocols (TCP/IP).
Experience with storage systems (SAN/NAS/DAS) and hardware (HP, Dell, EMC).
Strong troubleshooting skills and customer-focused attitude.
