JOB SUMMARY: The job involves initiation and development of quality leads to ensure growth of catering sales. Other important duties include booking, selling, planning and coordinating all special social events while assuring the highest level of customer service. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: \xc2\xb7 Find new customers for our company \xc2\xb7 Negotiates contracts \xc2\xb7 Helps plan the menu and logistics for each event \xc2\xb7 Provides hands-on support during the actual event and get the feedback from the client \xc2\xb7 Manage relationships with repeat customers \xc2\xb7 Books group events within the group booking parameters, ensuring that sales progress seamlessly and accurately by following established process and procedures \xc2\xb7 Up-sells products and services, closing the best opportunities for the property based on market conditions and property needs \xc2\xb7 Gains and maintains an understanding of the overall market (e.g., competitors\xe2\x80\x99 strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, supply and demand etc.) and sell against them \xc2\xb7 Represents sales department at staff and stands up meetings and reports on sales activity \xc2\xb7 Works to develop new or existing policies and procedures as determined by need in order to enhance the productivity of the event process \xc2\xb7 Ensures site inspections/visits; verify that the business is turned over properly and in a timely fashion for quality service delivery \xc2\xb7 Provide the CEO with a weekly report with the plan \xc2\xb7 Creates and updates clients\xe2\x80\x99 database \xc2\xb7 Implements and ensures all terms of costing relate to each event \xc2\xb7 Ensures delivering accurate reports to the Direct manager periodical or upon request. \xc2\xb7 Follows-up and report to the Direct Manager any matters of concern. \xc2\xb7 Performs other related duties as assigned or requested by the Direct Manager.
