Your day to day Financial Returns • Active sale of out-of-house events, development of strategic measures, in sales and marketing for customer care and new customer acquisition • Achieve targeted revenues and revenue goals for employees and teams and maximize profitability • Assists in the preparation of the annual budget for the department, the marketing and business plan for the area of responsibility and financial planning • Creates and implements sales plans that contribute to a measurable improvement in capacity utilization and higher sales revenues in the catering business • Creates and implements sales plans that contribute to a measurable improvement in capacity utilization and higher sales in the catering business • Supervises negotiations of the specified parameters, prices for buffets and menus, setup, location rentals and all remaining services, the fixed price benchmarks results from internal specifications, the market situation and the demand calendar, among other things • Maintains customer profiles according to Opera standards and ensures that all relevant documents are stored in a certain manner; Ensures consistent communication within the team • Integrates Catering's Best into the hotel, actively sells other areas of the hotel such as guest rooms, restaurants and other services • Participates in weekly Revenue meetings updates forecasted revenues Our People • Leads daily sales and activity planning • Sets performance and development goals for team members; • Instructs, trains and motivates the Catering Sales Team to achieve Catering's Best sales targets • ensures that all team members have the necessary information, market data and working tools to carry out their tasks • Develops and maintains relationships with important and relevant customers as well as external contacts • Communicates proactively and regularly with directors, revenue management, event sales, field sales, F&B operations, and all relevant hotel departments • Conducts regular department meetings and communicates clearly, comprehensively and in a timely manner Continuation of Your day to dayGuest Experience • Conducts regular market analysis and competition checks, identifies trends, new locations, continuous quality improvement to increase market shares and overall sales • Informs the relevant departments of all relevant aspects and special needs related to catering events, VIPs, and other important guests • Organizes location site inspections, business dinners or food tastings for potential leads in connection with a possible contract signing • Maintains contact with existing customers, new customers and agencies, locations and suppliers • Advises and convinces our customers "live" using all available options, records and recognizes the needs of the customers and assumes project responsibility for "high potential" customers • Created the trend food catalog (buffet, set menu and finger food) in cooperation with the F&B and Culinary Management Responsible Business • Is familiar with all safety standards and occupational health and safety guidelines and observes them • Is familiar with all HACCP guidelines and observes them • Meets the legal targets for the annual sales audit according to the IHG standard



What we need from you • Solid language skills in Arabic and English to communicate with high end clients • 5 to 7 years Events sales experience, with at least 3 years in outside caterings sales • Well groomed and etiquette awareness • Positive and confident appearance • High degree of problem solution skills, argumentation, business case building, trainings Ability to work evenings and weekends
