Catering Coordinator

Job Description

The Catering Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating all catering operations to ensure high-quality service delivery. This role includes managing client inquiries, coordinating with kitchen and service teams, handling logistics, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the catering process.

Key Responsibilities:



Serve as the primary point of contact for all catering inquiries and bookings. Coordinate with clients to understand event requirements, menu selections, and special requests. Prepare and send quotations, proposals, and invoices for catering services. Collaborate with the kitchen team to finalize menus and ensure timely preparation of food items. Coordinate staff schedules, including servers, chefs, and support personnel, for all catering events. Oversee event logistics such as equipment setup, delivery schedules, and transportation. Ensure all catering materials, supplies, and equipment are prepared and delivered on time. Conduct site visits when required and ensure proper event setup and breakdown. Maintain accurate records of bookings, payments, and inventory. Monitor service quality during events and resolve any issues promptly. Build and maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat business. Work closely with the management team to improve processes and enhance customer satisfaction. Ensure all catering operations comply with health, safety, and hygiene standards.

Qualifications & Skills:



Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred). Previous experience in catering, events, or hospitality coordination. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure. Proficiency in MS Office and basic event-management tools/software. Flexible schedule, including availability on weekends or evenings during events. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Physical Requirements (if applicable):



Ability to stand, walk, and lift equipment/items as needed during event setups.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
