Job Description

We are looking for a Catering Chef. He will be responsible for planning, preparing, and executing high-quality meals for various events, managing kitchen staff, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

Menu Planning

: Design and create customized menus for events such as corporate functions, and parties, considering client preferences and dietary restrictions.

Food Preparation

: Oversee the preparation and presentation of food, ensuring that all dishes meet high standards of quality and taste.

Team Management

: Lead and manage kitchen staff, delegating tasks effectively and providing training and mentorship to ensure a cohesive team.

Event Coordination

: Work closely with event planners and catering managers to ensure that food service is timely and meets client expectations.

Inventory Management

: Maintain inventory control, order supplies as needed, and ensure efficient use of resources.

Health and Safety Compliance

: Ensure that all food safety and sanitation regulations are followed, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.

Qualifications



Experience

: A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a professional kitchen, with at least 4 years in a catering environment is preferred.

Culinary Skills

: Proficient in various cooking techniques and cuisines, with a strong understanding of food safety practices.

Leadership Abilities

: Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Communication Skills

: Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to interact effectively with clients and staff.
