Our client a leading supplier of HORECA equipment and ingredients in Middle East is looking for a Category Specialist - Production role to manage and analyze historical sales trends and anticipate or forecast future product needs.
Relevant catalogue creations.
To engage with the Marketing department on promotions, and campaigns on a timely basis.
Build the right product mix for the relevant brand.
To execute forward forecasting for the brand with the sales team on a regular basis.
To assess brand performance & take action immediately to be in line with the expectations of the company.
Constant engagement with the technical team to develop ideas and ensure implementation of these approved plans with the sales team.
Ensuring product mix is in direct relation to customer requirements & expectations analysis.
Provide business reports & presentations as required & or requested.
To manage key clients with allotted sales team members.
To ensure brand targets are met on a monthly basis.
Swift action to be taken in advance if low demand or slow moving is anticipated to avoid near expiries scenarios.
To be aware of the trends and market competition.
Pricing benchmarks vs competitor brands to be maintained.
Product (quality) benchmarks vs competitors to be done on a regular basis.
Arranging training programs for the team.
Ensuring the team follows an agreed sales strategy.
Training schedules to be fixed for the full year.
The full-year calendar plan must be aligned with all departments, (marketing/procurement/stores).
Experience and Qualifications:
Graduates with 4-5 Years of experience in the same industry is preferred.
