Category Manager (Specialty)

inthe

Business Development - UAE

What we expect from you:

Own the commercial performance of the Specialty category, driving revenue, margin, and partner success across services like deep cleaning, AC maintenance, and pest control Analyze category performance, technician utilization, and service efficiency, turning insights into clear action plans Negotiate effectively with specialist suppliers to secure competitive pricing, warranty terms, and differentiated service packages Plan and execute category campaigns with Marketing to drive conversion during seasonal demand spikes (summer AC season, post-construction, moving peaks, etc.) Collaborate with Operations, Finance, and Product teams to optimize pricing, service SLAs, and fulfillment performance Monitor partner quality metrics and drive accountability through structured performance reviews Forecast demand and ensure partner capacity and technician readiness for peak operational periods Track, measure, and report KPIs, presenting recommendations that support faster and better decision-making Stay updated on industry and competitor developments to keep Specialty offerings competitive, compliant, and attractive

What we are looking for:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field 5+ years of experience in category management, vendor management, or commercial roles Proven track record managing category performance, pricing, and partner relationships Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and commercial performance analysis Solid negotiation and communication skills with the ability to influence partners and internal teams Experience working cross-functionally with Operations, Marketing, and Finance Ownership mindset with the ability to problem-solve and make data-driven decisions Experience in facilities management, home services, on-demand, or e-commerce environments (nice-to-have)
