Description:
- Responsible for supporting and managing a selected category of products for our company.
- He/She will work closely with the Category Manager to set systems for the category and devise short- and long-term category strategies with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the timely and accurate maintenance of system, catalogue, orders, and promotions.
- Follow up with suppliers to ensure accurate submission of new product listing, promotion proposals, trade plans and trading agreements.
- Proactively recommend and support in the development and implementation of new strategies to boost performance of categories.
- Assist in producing and implementing monthly category performance and market insights to identify category growth gap and opportunities.
- Coordinate and assist in conducting regular competitors\xe2\x80\x99 price and range survey and regular maintenance of competitor\xe2\x80\x99s advertised pricing.
- Assist in developing product marketing tools and tactics in collaboration with suppliers, brands, and local marketing team.
- Follow up with the Operations team to ensure all receiving process is smooth and complete.
- Cooperate with product managers to understand the requirements.
- Identify future opportunities, working as a thought partner to the product.
- Participate in design reviews and share your work regularly with company leadership.
- Ship, measure and improve designs based on quantitative and qualitative feedback.
- Analyze data or insights to determine industry and consumer trends.
- Determine the positioning of a product category to maximize visibility.
- Liaise with marketing teams to determine competitive pricing and promotional activities of a product category.
