The Role
We are looking for an organized Salon Receptionist cum Cashier to provide customer and administrative support for our company. In this role, you will be required to greet and welcome clients, secure bookings, manage appointment schedules, process transactions, and assist with sales and marketing. To ensure success as a salon receptionist, you should possess excellent organizational and marketing skills. A top-notch salon receptionist should be able to remain calm in stressful situations and provide excellent customer service and support. Salon Receptionist Responsibilities: \xe2\x80\xa2 Greeting and welcoming customers in a friendly and professional manner. \xe2\x80\xa2 Tending to customer needs, inquiries, and complaints. \xe2\x80\xa2 Informing hairdressers and beauticians about customer appointments and requirements. \xe2\x80\xa2 Managing phone calls, emails, deliveries, and office inventory. \xe2\x80\xa2 Processing bookings and cancellations, and managing appointment schedules. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensuring that the reception area is kept clean and professional. \xe2\x80\xa2 Assisting with marketing and sales by providing customers with information on promotions and new products and services. \xe2\x80\xa2 Processing transactions and issuing receipts. \xe2\x80\xa2 Performing administrative tasks such as filing, updating records, and logging transactions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED. \xe2\x80\xa2 A minimum of 1-year experience as a receptionist. \xe2\x80\xa2 Proficiency in administrative computer software such as MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. \xe2\x80\xa2 The ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations. \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong marketing and sales abilities. \xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent customer service and skills. \xe2\x80\xa2 Consistent professional presentation and pleasant demeanor. \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong written and verbal communication skills. \xe2\x80\xa2 Exceptional time management and organizational abilities.
