We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Carpentry Production Manager to join our team based in Umm Al-Quwain. As the Carpentry Production Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire production process, ensuring on-time delivery, maintaining high-quality standards, and managing a team of skilled carpenters. Key Responsibilities
:
Production Management
: Oversee daily carpentry production operations, ensuring all orders are completed efficiently, on schedule, and within budget.
Quality Control
: Implement and monitor quality assurance procedures to ensure all products meet the company's high-quality standards.
Team Leadership
: Lead and motivate a team of carpenters, ensuring that they adhere to safety protocols, production timelines, and high-quality standards.
On-Time Delivery
: Ensure timely delivery of all carpentry projects, managing production timelines and coordinating with other departments to meet customer deadlines.
Process Improvement
: Continuously identify opportunities for process improvements, increasing efficiency and productivity in the carpentry workshop.
Inventory and Materials Management
: Oversee the proper inventory management of raw materials and supplies, ensuring there are no delays due to material shortages.
Safety Management
: Ensure that all safety regulations and procedures are strictly followed in the carpentry workshop.
Collaboration
: Work closely with project managers, designers, and other teams to ensure customer requirements are fully met and expectations are exceeded.
Training and Development
: Train, develop, and evaluate carpentry staff to ensure continuous improvement in skills and performance.
Reporting
: Prepare regular production reports for senior management, highlighting production status, quality metrics, and any challenges or delays.
Qualifications
:
A degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field is preferred. Alternatively, a relevant technical qualification or diploma in Carpentry or Woodworking will also be considered.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in carpentry production or a similar management role within the carpentry or manufacturing industry.
Proven experience managing a team of carpenters or other production staff.
A solid understanding of carpentry product standards, with a focus on quality and craftsmanship.
