We are looking for a detail-oriented professional to prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for a wide range of carpentry projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of materials, labor, and project timelines to ensure our bids are precise and profitable.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze project plans, specifications, and blueprints to determine the scope of work.
Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for carpentry work, including materials, labor, equipment, and sub-contractor costs.
Communicate with suppliers and vendors to get up-to-date pricing.
Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure estimates align with project goals.
Maintain an organized and current database of cost information.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as an estimator in the carpentry or construction industry.
Strong knowledge of carpentry materials, techniques, and construction processes.
Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
Proficiency in estimating software and tools.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
