We undertake all kinds of Civil & MEP maintenance works including partitioning, false ceiling, flooring, wall tiling, painting, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, steel and aluminum fabrication, interior decorations, landscaping, and A/C maintenance for both domestic and commercial sectors.
3. ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a diligent Estimator to prepare accurate project estimates by gathering information and analyzing important metrics. You will provide knowledge of costs and benefits that support profitable business decisions. The ideal candidate will have excellent numerical skills and an analytical mindset. You must also be thorough and apt in managing relationships with key people.
? BOQ preparation is based on the requirements gathered, risks identified & scope of work.
? Estimate cost & time for the BOQ & scope of work identified.
? Identify the workforce required for the project.
? Preparation of project proposals & quotations.
? Documentation of the material/activity pricing & risks for future use.
4.2. Project/Work Coordination
? Identification of the right workforce to execute the project (Internal Team/External Suppliers)
? Communicate & get confirmation of project scope & price from Supplier (Get formal quote)
? Communicate & get confirmation of the workforce availability & schedule.
? Coordinate the work with Client & Workforce (Internal Team/External Supplier)
? Complete all the document works required (E.g., Risk Assessment Form & Method Statement)
? Arrange all the necessary prerequisites for the project (Permissions, Approvals)
? Make sure all the communications and agreements with Supplier & Client are formal.
5. QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
5.1. Essential qualifications
? Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering (Civil/Electrical/Mechanical)
? 2 to 5 years of experience in Estimator/QS in Interior Fit-out company.
5.2. Key competencies
? Solid knowledge of Civil Works, MEP & Project Coordination
? Hands-on experience in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
? Experience in using computers, the internet, and search engines like Google.
? Good understanding of the Business Activities
