Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented

Joinery Estimator

to join our team. You will be responsible for accurately estimating costs and preparing detailed quotes for joinery projects, ensuring profitability while maintaining the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare accurate estimates and quotations based on drawings, specifications, and site visits Liaise with clients, architects, and suppliers to gather necessary information for costing Analyse project requirements and identify labour, materials, and time needed Produce Bills of Quantities and take-offs from architectural drawings Obtain quotes from suppliers and subcontractors Ensure estimates are aligned with current market rates and company targets Assist in project handovers to the production team and track project variations
Requirements

Proven experience as a Joinery Estimator or similar role in the construction/joinery industry Strong understanding of bespoke joinery, cabinetry, and architectural woodworking Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications Proficient in estimating software (e.g., Excel, Bluebeam, Cubit, or similar) Strong numerical and analytical skills Excellent communication and negotiation skills High attention to detail and organizational skills
