Key Responsibilities:
Manufacture and assemble wooden furniture, cabinets, doors, panels, and other joinery items.
Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools with precision and care.
Measure, cut, shape, and finish wood and wood substitutes to exact specifications.
Install joinery and furniture components on-site when required.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment in the workshop and on-site.
Carry out basic maintenance of tools and equipment.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2-3 years of experience.
Proven experience as a Carpenter in a furniture or joinery works environment.
Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, materials, tools, and machinery.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
Attention to detail and a strong sense of craftsmanship.
Good physical condition and stamina.
Understanding of health and safety regulations.
Relevant vocational training or certification is preferred.
