Job Title:

Carpenter Foreman

Project Manager / Site Superintendent

Job Summary:

To lead, supervise, and coordinate a team of carpenters and other trades on construction sites, ensuring all carpentry work (rough, finish, millwork) is executed safely, efficiently, on time, and to the highest quality standards, in strict adherence to project plans, blueprints, and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership:

Supervise, mentor, and delegate tasks to a crew of journeymen and apprentices, fostering a productive and safe work environment.

Project Planning & Execution:

Review blueprints, lay out work, create schedules, and manage daily tasks to meet project timelines and goals.

Quality & Safety:

Inspect work for quality, ensure compliance with specifications, enforce safety protocols (PPE, hazard awareness), and maintain clean worksites.

Material & Equipment:

Oversee material orders, inventory, and tool maintenance to prevent delays.

Reporting & Communication:

Prepare daily reports, time sheets, and progress updates; communicate effectively with clients, managers, and other trades.

Technical Carpentry:

Perform skilled rough carpentry (framing) and finish carpentry (cabinetry, trim, flooring, etc.) as needed, and troubleshoot site issues.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a carpentry apprenticeship or equivalent experience. Proven experience as a journeyman carpenter, with demonstrated supervisory experience. Strong understanding of construction methods, tools, materials, and safety regulations.

Skills & Abilities:

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, drawings, and specifications. Strong organizational, time-management, and planning abilities. Physical fitness for demanding construction work (lifting, climbing, standing).

Contract length: 24 months

Pay: Up to AED5,000.00 per month
