Job Description

The

Carpenter Foreman

is responsible for supervising and coordinating all carpentry and woodwork-related and gypsum ceiling activities during villa renovation projects. This includes overseeing carpentry teams, ensuring quality craftsmanship, and maintaining adherence to project timelines, specifications, and safety standards.

Lead and manage a team of carpenters and helpers on villa renovation sites. Plan daily carpentry tasks based on project requirements and deadlines. Review and interpret drawings, blueprints, and specifications for woodwork, ceilings, doors, wardrobes, and furniture installations. Ensure proper allocation of manpower, materials, and tools for assigned tasks. Oversee the fabrication, installation, and finishing of doors, frames, wardrobes, cabinets, flooring, and decorative wooden elements. Check alignment, levels, joints, and overall finish quality of completed carpentry works. Ensure all carpentry work complies with design specifications and client expectations. Perform hands-on work when necessary, especially during critical or finishing stages. Communicate progress, challenges, and material requirements to the Site Engineer or Project Supervisor. Conduct toolbox talks and guide team members on safety and work quality.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education:

Diploma / ITI Certificate in Carpentry or related field.

Experience:

Minimum

3-5 years

of experience in carpentry works, with at least

3 years as a Foreman

, preferably in

villa or interior renovation projects

.

Skills:

Excellent knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and finishing methods. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and shop details. Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills. Good understanding of fit-out and joinery work.
