Job Description
Job Title: Carpentry Foreman
Location: Dubai, UAE
Employment Type: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and lead a team of carpenters and laborers in formwork, scaffolding, and finishing works. Interpret construction drawings and ensure accurate execution of carpentry tasks. Monitor the installation of wooden structures, formwork, shuttering, and falsework for concrete works. Ensure proper material handling, storage, and usage to minimize waste. Conduct quality checks to ensure work meets engineering and safety standards. Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and other foremen to maintain workflow efficiency. Enforce strict compliance with OSHA and company safety regulations. Train and mentor junior carpenters and apprentices. Report daily progress and issues to the Construction Manager.
Requirements:
10+ years of carpentry experience in high-rise construction. Strong knowledge of formwork systems (timber, plywood, aluminum). Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Leadership and team management skills. OSHA certification (preferred). Physical stamina and ability to work at heights.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED1,000.00 - AED20,000.00 per month
