Job Description
CARPENTER FOREMAN
Job Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate daily carpentry activities on construction sites Assign work to carpenters and ensure tasks are completed as per drawings Read and interpret drawings, layouts, and work specifications Monitor quality of carpentry works including formwork, shuttering, and finishing Ensure proper use of hand and power tools and safe work practices Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, and other trades Maintain productivity, housekeeping, and adherence to safety standards
Requirements
Minimum 7-10 years experience in carpentry works At least 3-5 years experience as Carpenter Foreman in construction projects Strong knowledge of formwork, shuttering, and finishing carpentry Proven ability to lead teams and manage daily site activities Good understanding of construction safety rules and procedures Physically fit to work in demanding site conditions Good communication and basic reporting skills Secondary school or equivalent qualification
