About the Role



We are seeking a

skilled Carpenter Factory Foreman

with expertise in manufacturing

kitchens, wardrobes, and custom joinery products

. This role requires a hands-on professional who can manage the production process from start to finish -- including cutting, assembling, and installing wooden structures with precision and efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of woodworking techniques, be able to interpret technical drawings, and ensure all work meets the highest quality standards. Leadership, attention to detail, and a commitment to health and safety are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities



Blueprint & Drawing Interpretation:

Accurately read and interpret technical drawings, dimensions, and cut lists.

Material Preparation & Processing:

Skilled in

sewing/jointing panels

. Operate

edge banding machinery

effectively. Perform precise

drilling and boring

of panels. Cut, shape, and smooth materials according to specifications.

Cabinet & Furniture Assembly:


Assemble kitchen cabinets, wardrobes, and other joinery products with accuracy and according to plans.Oversee and participate in on-site installation, ensuring proper alignment and stability of installed units.Inspect production at every stage to maintain high standards and perform necessary adjustments or repairs.Ensure all team members follow strict safety protocols within the factory and on-site.Supervise production staff, assign tasks, and provide guidance to maintain efficiency and quality.

Experience:

Minimum

4 years' experience

in kitchen and wardrobe manufacturing. Strong background in general woodworking and joinery. Previous experience with

Light Gauge Steel (LGS)

is an advantage but not required.

Technical Skills:

Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery. Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and manufacturing processes. Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and measurements. Basic math skills for accurate calculations.

Soft Skills:

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Good organizational and time management skills. Effective communication and leadership skills. Ability to work independently and within a team. High attention to detail with a "right-first-time" approach.

Physical Requirements:

Good physical condition and stamina to handle demanding tasks.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of a recognized

carpentry apprenticeship program

is required.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
