Caregiver - Homecare

Job Summary:
The Caregiver provides personalized care and support to patients in their homes, assisting with daily activities, basic medical needs, and maintaining patient comfort and safety. The role ensures compassionate, high-quality care while followingcompany policies and patient care standards.
Key Responsibilities:
? Assist patients with daily living activities including personal hygiene, feeding,
mobility, and medication reminders
? Support patient care under supervision of healthcare professionals
? Observe and report changes in patient condition to the nurse or supervising
physician
? Maintain patient comfort, dignity, and privacy at all times
? Provide basic nursing assistance such as vital signs monitoring, wound care
support, and first aid
? Ensure safe handling and use of equipment and supplies
? Document patient care activities and observations accurately
? Follow infection control practices and safety guidelines
? Educate and guide patients and families on basic care practices as instructed
? Maintain clear communication with patients, family members, and healthcareteam
? Participate in training, skill development, and quality improvement activities
Experience & Skills:
? Minimum 1-2 years experience in caregiving or homecare support preferred
? Compassionate, patient, attentive, and flexible
? Ability to work independently and as part of a team
? Strong communication and interpersonal skills
? Basic computer skills for documentation (optional)
Education & Certification:
? Diploma in Nursing / Nursing Assistant certification
? Basic Life Support (BLS) Certificat
