Plan, direct and control operations of the Business Unit (BU) functions, such as Port clearance, Pre-delivery operations, warehousing, transportation, supply chain, customer relations, administrative, in order to run cost effective operations, achieve business results and growth objectives, within the limits of authority.
Job Responsibilities
Strategic:
Plan annual budget, and objectives for PDI Warehouse and Logistics operations.
Monitor actual performance against budgeted figures and take corrective measures as appropriate.
Recommend strategies to enhance performance of business unit by reducing cost and optimizing efficiency levels.
Operational:
Monitor working of PDI, Warehouse and Logistics operations on day to day basis.
Plan and monitor individual departments and supporting operations to achieve objectives on budget and warranty claims.
Review and approve Field Technical Reports (FTR) on a weekly basis, reporting discrepancies to Sr. Accountant, Group Sales.
Ensure all managers, assistant managers, supervisors and administrative support are properly assigned to carry out their jobs efficiently.
Monitor consumables control on a monthly basis, reporting discrepancies to Senior Financial Manager.
Submit the periodical reports to the management.
Ensure optimum supplies of consumables are available all time.
Plan and execute annual inventory exercises for all operations.
Monitor compliance of all employees to the prescribed security and safety standards.
Design and implement appropriate workflow system after mapping the various operational processes.
Establish the working hours’ schedule of employees to meet the business objectives.
Monitor maintenance of accurate records, documentation and reports pertaining to stock, transport, pre-delivery inspections, technical errors, warranty claims, employee performance etc…
People Management:
Identify, set and agree on KPIs and objectives.
Prepare performance planning (PP) and conduct performance appraisal (PA) and PP/PA interviews including employee development plans and counsel employees on career progression opportunities and approve training requests.
Recommend employee promotions, salary adjustments, and disciplinary actions and approve vacation and overtime.
Identify staffing needs, participate in interviewing panels and take hiring decisions.
Plan and organize training for managers, assistant managers and supervisors employees with regard to technical changes or innovations in systems as instructed by TMC, Japan
Monitor and evaluate performance of managers, assistant managers and other employees and provide or recommend appropriate training & developmental plans for the employees
Maintain and promote staff motivation by addressing employee grievances promptly and escalating when necessary and enforcing fair and equitable compliance with Group policies and procedures.

Diploma (12th Standard + 2 or 3 years Diploma)
