Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced

Car Workshop Supervisor

to oversee daily workshop operations. The ideal candidate should have

5 to 6 years of experience

in automotive repair and service, specifically working with

small cars

, with in-depth knowledge of

spare parts

, and hands-on experience managing

auto mechanics and auto electricians

.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate the day-to-day activities of workshop staff, including mechanics, electricians, and helpers. Monitor service workflow and allocate jobs based on technician skills and workload. Ensure all vehicle repairs and maintenance tasks are completed on time and meet quality standards. Provide technical guidance to mechanics and electricians in diagnosing and resolving complex issues. Maintain accurate job cards, service records, and inventory usage. Monitor and manage stock levels of spare parts and consumables; coordinate with the procurement team for timely restocking. Conduct regular inspections of ongoing work to ensure adherence to safety, quality, and service standards. Communicate with customers (if needed) to explain repairs, cost estimates, and timelines. Implement and enforce health and safety procedures in the workshop. Train and mentor junior staff to ensure continuous skill development. Coordinate with the front desk/service advisors for smooth customer service flow.

Qualifications & Skills:

Minimum

5 to 6 years of experience

in an automotive workshop environment, preferably supervising technicians and electricians. Strong technical knowledge of

small cars

, repair procedures, and diagnostic techniques. Excellent knowledge of

automotive spare parts

and their applications. Proven experience in handling

auto mechanics and auto electricians

, assigning tasks, and resolving work-related issues. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Proficiency in workshop management software is an advantage. Diploma or Certification in Automobile Engineering or a related field (preferred).
